Sleep Different: iPhone lets users sleep in on New Years Day (Update)

If you use your iPhone as your Alarm Clock read this!
For those of you that set a New Years resolution to get up early and go running, workout, clean, study or something else that required you to set an Alarm on your brand new sparkly iPhone 4, I hope your Rooster at least did it’s job; or if you don’t have a rooster you enjoyed sleeping in.
If you are like me and you rely on your iPhone as your Alarm clock, you woke up to an alarming issue today; your alarm clock probably didn’t go off. It appears that there is a bug that prevents single event alarms from going off, as of January 1, 2011.
Don’t worry there is a work around….Click through to find out what it is (or go buy a Rooster before you go to sleep tonight).

I'm Lion, or I'm Dy…..Mac OS X Lion (10.7) to be announced on Wednesday

So if the image to the left is any indication, Apple is due to announce Mac OS 10.7, AKA Mac OS Lion. When will it happen? This Wednesday on October 20th. What are Lion’s new features? Hmmmmm……….
Well, first of all of course the Lion is the king of the jungle, so don’t expect it to be just a mild update to Snow Leopard. Lion should be a rethink of what a computer OS is, bigger than the transition from Tiger to Leopard was way back when.
