If you happened to catch last night’s SNL, something very special happend. Emma Stone and Andy Samberg show us how technology gets frisky. No really, it gets pretty real. But with a catchy song that won’t escape my head, “We’re gonna make technology hump,” and two annoyingly industrial-esk hosts in khakis and colorful tees, it is just well… PERFECT.

Channeling Spielberg with YOUR IPAD

Sure, I suppose it makes sense that Apple is now the most valuable company in the world. Yes, that is now a fact. Thanks to their ingenious inventions with various uses- all it takes is the right tool or enhancement and next thing you know- you’re directing a movie with your iPad.
That’s now possible, thanks to the Movie Mount- an attachable case for the iPad 2, which allows you to add additional functions the the original video abilities. I bet you wanted a wide angle lens for that sick car explosion scene? Done. You can also attach your own mic to the mount, allowing better audio that the standard mic on the iPad. This ain’t your grandma’s home video.

Tip: Force Quit Any Mac App in Seconds

Ever have the problem where the Application that you are currently running begins to hang? Yeah….me too? Here’s how you can Force Quit any application in 3 seconds.
To Force Quit any Application simply press and hold for 3 seconds the following key combination:
“Command 
” + “Option” + “Shift” + “Esc”
After 3 seconds the application will automatically quit.
TIP: On a Safari? Get Home Fast, With This Shortcut Combo.

Looking for a quick way to get back to your Home Page in Safari on your Mac?
This simple little three button combination will get you quickly to your favorite Home Page quickly.
Simply press:
“Command ” + “fn” + “Back Arrow” keys at the same time
Then you’re back home in no time flat.

I'm Lion, or I'm Dy…..Mac OS X Lion (10.7) to be announced on Wednesday

So if the image to the left is any indication, Apple is due to announce Mac OS 10.7, AKA Mac OS Lion. When will it happen? This Wednesday on October 20th. What are Lion’s new features? Hmmmmm……….
Well, first of all of course the Lion is the king of the jungle, so don’t expect it to be just a mild update to Snow Leopard. Lion should be a rethink of what a computer OS is, bigger than the transition from Tiger to Leopard was way back when.
