Saks Fifth Ave Wishing You a Happy Holidays in 3D
Dec 20th
Remember the good ol’ days when people would ooooo and ahhhhh over a giant Christmas tree lighting, in wonder of a million twinkling bulbs? Well, in a world of technology, kiss those days good bye and start drooling over the new craze of 3D projections. Saks Fifth Ave takes the reins and drives home a wondrous transformation of a regular building into a mad house of holiday cheer. While they aren’t the first (following companies such as Oakley, Ralph Lauren, Nokia, and Speedo) to wow with this digital illusion, they sure know how to do it right! Happy Holidays!

Feb 2nd
How a young Darth Vader learned to control the force, or maybe it’s a VW Jetta commercial for this Sunday’s Super Bowl XVL. May the force be with you young padawan.
This commercial makes me wish remote engine start existed when I was a kid.
UPDATE: It’s official, this is arguably the best commercial of the Super Bowl.
What the Tech?! It's the Hövding, duh!
Oct 19th
Welcome to the first edition of “What the Tech?!” For this inaugural edition, we have a very special item for you. What is it you ask?
It’s not a personal surround sound stereo system.
It’s not a prop from the 1987 theatrical hit, Spaceballs.
It’s not an oversized George Washington wig, released just in time for Halloween.
and……it’s not the new look in Haute Couture Fashion from the runways of New Yorks Fashion Week.
So what exactly is it?! Here’s a clue, you use one when you go to work. Give up? Click through to find out and watch a video of it in action.
What The Tech?! Series (What is it?) What is, "What the Tech?!" The "What the Tech?!" Series covers technologies that makes you take a second look while uncontrollably tilting your head to the side. Similar to what a K-9 does when seeing something it doesn't quite understand. So when we spot technology that just makes us go wonder, "What the heck is that?", well that is something that deservers to be covered here.
BMW's iPad Integration
Sep 30th
BMW is debuting their integrated iPad solution. It charges the iPad while providing a convenient fixed mount to enjoy the iPad’s multimedia entertainment. All this amazing technology makes me think, “Whatever happened to the license-plate game?”
Personally I’m not a fan of pacifying your children by distracting them with tv’s, iPads, etc. while in the car. When I grew up I used my imagination while sitting in the back seat. I would color, play the license-plate game – which taught me all of the states and a few countries, and I’d complain when my sister looked out my window……seriously, kids these days already have enough ADD issues, pacifying them while in the car with these types of distractions won’t help the issue.
Regardless, it’s a pretty dope integration into the back of the front seats. Adult rear cabin passengers that have grown up riding uphill both ways while in a blizzard and no heater, rejoice. You can now safely facebook from the backseat.

Electric Motorcycles, just got cool; The Brammo Empulse.
Jul 15th
I’ve seen quite a few Electric Motorcycles, from a number of companies and none of them come close to this beast from Brammo. It’s the Empulse, this street-fighter makes over 100+ mph with a range of 100 miles. True there are some killer electric bikes out there. Some look amazing, some go amazingly fast, and some have a great range; but none of them are production bikes. With this one it can be all yours, for a few green backs.
Being environmentally conscious has never been so rebellious.
